Every coin is a capital engine.

How it works, and where it stops working.

What ironkey is

ironkey is a pump.fun launchpad where every coin flywheels itself. Trading on pump.fun pays a creator fee on every buy and sell. Normally that fee goes to whoever deployed the coin and leaves. Here it goes to the coin's own Key Vault, and the keeper puts it straight back into the coin: a fixed share always deepens liquidity, and holders vote on where the rest goes.

More volume means more fees. More fees mean more liquidity, more buybacks, more burns. That is the loop.

The Key Vault

Every pool gets its own vault keypair, generated for that pool and stored encrypted at rest on the server (the pool id is bound into the encryption, so one vault's secret can't be swapped for another). That vault is the pump.fun creatorof the coin it launches, so creator fees accrue to it and only it: on the bonding curve's creator vault before graduation, and on the PumpSwap creator vault after.

  • The vault receives pool commits, buys the coin in the launch transaction, and holds pooled tokens until committers claim them.
  • It signs fee claims and every flywheel transaction. The platform wallet only pays network fees and Jito tips.
  • Tokens owed to committers and the coin's locked reserve are accounted for separately. Burns and LP adds only ever touch tokens the flywheel bought.

The flywheel

Every 10 min (the current default pass interval) one keeper walks every live coin and runs three steps.

  1. 01

    Claim

When claimable creator fees reach 0.02SOL, the Key Vault claims them. The amount booked is the exact lamport delta from the confirmed transaction, not an estimate.

  2. 02

    Split

The claim is cut into per-coin buckets: 10% treasury, 40% liquidity, 50% by the holder vote. Balances are tracked in lamports.

  3. 03

    Execute

Any bucket holding at least 0.01SOL runs its action on chain. Smaller buckets wait for the next pass.

With no votes, or no counted weight, the voted 50% goes to liquidity too, so an ignored coin still puts 90% of its fees into its own depth. Every claim and every action is an on-chain transaction recorded with its signature. The flywheel feed lists all of them across the platform, and each coin page shows its own: capital generated, liquidity added, tokens burned, locked reserve, rewards paid and the launch fund.

The five options

The voted share can go to any mix of these, in proportion to the tally.

Liquidity

liquidity / lp_add

Before graduation: a curve buy, with the tokens sent to the coin's locked reserve and never sold. After graduation: a PumpSwap deposit with the LP tokens burned in the same transaction, so the depth is permanent.

Buyback & burn

burn

Buys the coin and burns exactly the amount bought, in the same transaction. Supply only goes down.

Buyback & lock

lock

Buys the coin and adds it to the locked reserve: the coin's own balance sheet, paired into liquidity at graduation instead of ever being sold.

SOL rewards

rewards

SOL paid pro-rata to the top 100 holders with at least 0.1% of supply. The curve, pool, vault and platform wallet are excluded. Payouts under 0.0001SOL roll over to the next batch.

Fair launch fund

fund_seed / seed_burn

SOL saved toward the next coin. Once it reaches the pool minimum, a child fair launch can be opened from the coin page, seeded by this fund.

Voting

  • No transaction, no fee.You vote by signing a message with your wallet. It names the site, the coin, your choice and a one-time nonce, so it can't be replayed or reused on another site.
  • One active vote per wallet per coin. Changing it replaces the old one. Votes persist across passes until you change them.
  • Weight is your balance, read at tally time. Before each split the keeper reads every voter's token account balance. Sell or move your tokens and your weight moves with them, so the same tokens can't count twice from two wallets.
  • What counts.Only the balance in your wallet's associated token account. Tokens held elsewhere, and the curve, pool, vault and platform wallet, carry no weight. Zero balance means zero weight.
  • Timing. A vote counts from the next pass. The coin page shows the live tally by weight, voter count, your vote, and how the next 50% will split.

Fair launch and Instant

Two ways to launch. Both run the same engine: the vault creates the coin and buys in one transaction, then the flywheel takes over.

FAIR LAUNCH
Who funds the launch buy
Anyone, by committing SOL to a public pool.
Window
Launcher picks 5 min / 15 min / 30 min / 60 min.
Price
Everyone in the pool gets the same price, in the same transaction that creates the coin.
After
Claim your tokens right at launch. Under 0.5SOL at close means no launch and every commit is refundable.
INSTANT
Who funds the launch buy
Only the launcher, as their dev buy.
Window
None. Launches 15 to 60 seconds after the deposit confirms.
Visibility
Not listed anywhere until the coin exists.
After
Claim right at launch. Same Key Vault, same flywheel.

Commits are final until launch: a pool that can be drained at the last second is a pool that can be gamed. If a launch doesn't happen (under the minimum, or every attempt fails), the full commit is refundable from that pool's vault. Your share of a fair pool is poolTokens × yourCommit ÷ totalCommitted, rounded down.

Child fair launches and the launch fund

The fair launch fund is how a coin funds the next one. SOL voted into it accumulates per coin.

  • Once the fund reaches the pool minimum (0.5SOL), a child fair launch can be opened from the coin page by the coin's launcher or by anyone holding at least 1% of its supply.
  • The fund is committed into the child pool as its seed, straight from the parent's Key Vault. The child tokens that seed buys are burnedafter launch: the parent pays for the child's floor and keeps none of its supply.
  • The child is a normal ironkey coin with its own Key Vault and its own flywheel.
  • Fund balance older than 30 days rolls into liquidity, so idle SOL never sits forever.

Fees

Enforced server side. These are the current defaults.

pump.fun's own trading fees apply as usual. You pay normal Solana network fees for your commits, claims and trades. Votes cost nothing. Rounding dust, leftover SOL and tokens unclaimed after 30 days are swept to the treasury.

Money safety

  • Dry run. The server runs paused, dry run, or live. In dry run every launch, claim and flywheel action builds and signs the real transaction, then simulates it against mainnet instead of sending.
  • Signature-only accounting. An action counts only when its signature confirms on chain. Claimed amounts come from the confirmed transaction's balance change.
  • Idempotent ledger. Each action is written as a pending row that debits its bucket before the transaction is sent. It settles on a confirmed signature and is released only on proven failure (blockhash expired and signature absent). A bucket can't be spent twice, even across restarts.
  • Keeper leader lock. Only one server instance holds the keeper lock at a time, so two processes never run the same pass.
  • Vault secrets never leave the server and are never logged. Nothing financial fires on page load; your wallet opens only when you click.

Honest limits

  • Fees depend on volume. No trading means no creator fees, and no fees means no capital. The flywheel amplifies activity; it can't create it.
  • Pre-graduation liquidity is the curve.Until a coin graduates, “liquidity” is extra depth on the bonding curve plus a locked reserve of tokens. The permanent, LP-burned pool only exists after graduation.
  • Votes count ATA balances at tally time.Tokens in other accounts or programs don't vote, and a balance that moves before the pass counts where it lands.
  • Rewards reach the top holders only. The top 100 wallets above 0.1% of supply. Smaller holders benefit from liquidity, burns and locks instead.
  • On-chain risk is real. Memecoins are volatile and most go to zero. Transactions are final. Nothing here is a promise of returns.
